Associate, Water/Wastewater and Environmental Engineering

Ben Blair, PE is a graduate of Union College with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering from Northwestern University. He has over 50 years of experience in the planning, design and construction management of water and wastewater facilities, and with Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, Preliminary Assessments, Site and Remedial Investigations, and implementing Remedial Actions for numerous commercial, industrial and multi-unit residential properties.

His wastewater experience includes the design and construction of major regional interceptor systems as large as 106 inches in diameter in urban areas, major pumping stations and force mains, and regional wastewater treatment facilities, as well as the planning, design and construction management of underground transit facility reconstruction.  Many of the projects Mr. Blair has managed involve major utility borings, liner plate tunneling, horizontal directional drilling, and stream and inlet crossings. His recent experience includes the preparation of Environmental Impact Statements for the New Jersey Turnpike Authority, Department of Transportation, and Division of Property Management and Construction, and for federal USEPA NEPA compliance.

He is a Life Member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, and a member of the Water Environment Federation and American Water Works Association.
